Welcome to Saldo. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Description of Service
Saldo provides a cloud-based bookkeeping platform for freelancers and small businesses, including invoicing, expense tracking, VAT calculation, and financial reporting tools.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent financial information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
4. Billing and Payments
Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days written notice. Your continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Saldo. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Saldo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, Saldo is a bookkeeping tool, not a substitute for professional tax or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter and for complying with all applicable tax laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saldo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
